Pastor Reuben Wilson, Founder of Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability (PRIFGLA), and Governing Council Member, University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has expressed strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during an expanded APC stakeholders meeting held at the APC secretariat in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Speaking in an interview, Pastor Wilson described the meeting as a clear indication that Bayelsans and the APC in Bayelsa are aligned with President Tinubu.
He expressed disappointment that the meeting wasn’t held at the Government House (Creek Haven), referencing the party’s governorship election outcome.
He thanked President Tinubu for the support given not only to Bayelsa State but the entire Niger Delta region, highlighting the appointments of APC members from the region into strategic positions as a welcome development.
Pastor Wilson emphasized that Bayelsa APC needs support from the national level, stating that with such support, no other party would rival APC’s control of the state’s affairs.
He expressed confidence that with total support from the centre, APC would solidify its position in Bayelsa State, making it challenging for other parties to compete.
