As Osomkime Drums Support For Tinubu’s Reelection Bid

Shaga Oluwantosi, Director General of the City Boy Movement, says the landmark projects billed for commissioning by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will usher unprecedented development to the people of Bayelsa and fastrack industrial growth.
Speaking in Yenagoa, Oluwantosi said the projects were part of the promises made by Governor Diri when he assumed office. “We are all happy and waiting to see these projects being commissioned. We believe they will have a high impact on the lives of Bayelsans,” he said.
The Director General also disclosed that the patron of the movement, Barr. Seyi Tinubu, is expected to visit the state office of the City Boy Movement on Saturday.
He said the patron has continued to sustain the energy of young Nigerians across the country.
On the movement’s presence in Bayelsa, Oluwantosi stated that the City Boy Movement has set an example for other groups by building a formidable structure and grassroots network to ensure President Tinubu’s return to power in 2027.

Meanwhile, Chief Barr. Blankson Osomkime, Bayelsa State Director of the City Boy Movement, has joined other Bayelsans and Nigerians to appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the visit to the state to commission several legacy projects.
Osomkime described the President’s visit as significant, noting that Bayelsa is the first state in the South-South to host Mr. President for project commissioning.
He commended President Tinubu for honoring the state with his presence and lauded Governor Douye Diri for executing what he called “remarkable projects” that will improve the living standards of the people.
Osomkime listed key projects slated for commissioning, including the 630-metre Angiama-Oporoma Bridge, the New Yenagoa City Road, the Ekeremor-Agge Road, and a 60-megawatt gas-fired power plant designed to boost electricity supply in the state.
The City Boy Movement director urged Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s re-election bid, citing policies he said have been put in place to reposition the country.
He disclosed that the movement has been mobilizing support across the country to promote the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to Osomkime, the City Boy Movement is set to roll out an empowerment programme aimed at making youths and men self-reliant so they can contribute to societal development.
He said the initiative is courtesy of the movement’s patron, Seyi Tinubu, whom he described as a humane leader and also commended other directors of the movement for their commitment to building the organization.
He announced that the movement will carry out a “massive empowerment” programme for Bayelsans on the 15th of this month.
Osomkime called on the people to have faith in President Tinubu’s leadership, which he said is determined to empower citizens.
