The women wing of the christian association of Nigeria (WOWICAN), Bayelsa state chapter, held its 4th Annual convention with a strong focus on the pressing issues of cohabitation, divorce, and entering into unsuitable marriages.
The convention brought together christian women from across the state to address the emotional, spiritual, and societal consequences of these challenges.
speakers urged women to make informed and godly decisions regarding relationships and marriage,they emphasized the importance of seeking wise counsel before marriage, upholding christian values, and choosing purpose driven unions over those formed out of pressure, convenience, or desperation.
The convention served as a powerful platform for education, inspiration, and transformation,participants were reminded that building strong families begins with making the right choices in relationships choices rooted in faith, mutual respect, and long term commitment.
Among the notable participants was the Eunice Nnachi Women Advocacy Foundation (ENWAF), which added its voice to the call for purposeful and faith based marriages.
