The State Chairman of APC, Jarret Tenebe has been seen in a video where he sought to create the false impression that no protests took place in Benin and that Edo people are satisfied with the widespread hunger and poverty in the land brought about by the Tinubu led APC administration.
After hoodwinking his Abuja paymasters into releasing money to him and Monday Okpebholo with assurances that they will stop the protests from holding in Edo State, Jarret Tenebe who calls himself “Emperor” came out early in the morning at Ring Road to make an empty video way before the protests started.
It is shameful to see a man of Tenebe’s age willfully indulge in such self deceit over a protest which was successfully staged by young people who have firmly resolved to secure their future, a future which APC clearly seeks to destroy.
But then again, you can’t shame the shameless.
To the utter disappointment of Jarrett Tenebe and his cohorts in APC, the ‘End Bad Governance’ protest did not only hold yesterday in BENIN but it was largely peaceful and has become a national reference point as to how the ongoing Protests against the wicked policies of this APC Government should be conducted.
Our ever conscious and enlightened Edo youths conducted themselves with such decorum that the plan to use hired thugs to infiltrate the protests and cause mayhem failed woefully.
Jarret Tenebe and his co-travellers in APC should hide their faces in shame over the ongoing protests. Despite all the money they spent and all the “Say no to Protest” propaganda they sponsored, thousands of young people came out on the streets in Benin and other cities across Nigeria to vehemently reject their evil government and their harsh economic policies which have only succeeded in plunging majority of Nigerians into poverty, deprivation and lack.
Once again, Edo people can clearly see the desperate characters hiding behind the dimwitted Monday Okpebholo’s Governorship agenda in Edo
They have neither empathy nor sympathy for the suffering masses. All they care about is perpetuating themselves in power by all means, even against the will of the people.
