Nigerian Youth Parliament Speaker Mourns Death of Chief Ernest Shonekan

 

…..Says his death is a colossal loss to Nigeria.

The Speaker Nigerian Youth Parliament Rt. Hon. (Dr) Azeezat Yishawu, commiserate with well meaning Nigerians on the death of Chief Ernest Shonekan, describing his death as a sad one.

Chief Ernest Shoenekan drew his last breath at the ripe age of 85, having lived an eventful life that saw him feature in National Politics at a very fragile moment of Nigeria history.

In a press statement released she describe the former boardroom guru and financial expert’s death as a one nobody expect inspite of his old age but death is inevitable and has no time frame. She noted that the death of Chief Ernest Shonekan is another chapter of grief in the nations farewell to a generation of notable citizens of the country.

The Speaker further noted that no doubt Chief Ernest Shonekan name and contribution to our national history would remain eternal, as the rest of us take consolation in the fact that he lived a life worthy of emulations.

Continue to rest Chief Ernest Shonekan, a father and leader, even though you’ve gone on to the great beyond, your life will continue to be an example
