Facebook changes parent company name to “Meta” unveils new logo.
The company founder, Mark Zuckerberg said this on Facebook Live, he said the new name will expand the reach beyond social media into areas like virtual reality.
However the change will not apply to individual platforms, like Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp – only the parent company name will change.
