The Dept Army Transformation and Innovation Team From Army Headquarters pays 6 Div NA a visit to sensitize personnel on COAS Vision and Philosophy .
The Team Leader Brig Gen AA Odoba during his lecture “Lessons Learned” stated that Nigerian Army have assigned Lessons Learned Department to draw lessons from past and ongoing operations and other activities as well as to sensitize Nigerian Army Personnel.
He reiterated that It is necessary to identify, document and disseminate Lessons Learned in order to provide reference for future tasks with information that increases effectiveness and efficiency.
While presenting the Second Lecture on COAS Vision and Philosophy , Brig Gen JO Adeyemo listed the “COAS 4 Pillars of Command” as Professionalism, Readiness, Administration and Cooperation adding that the COAS is ready to procure equipment and train Personnel both home and abroad adding that it is expected of personnel to be professional in the discharge of their constitutional roles and improve on their maintenance culture.
The GOC 6 Div PH Maj Gen SG Mohammed while summing up the lecture stated that a disciplined soldier is one who is always with his notebook to record activities that affects him in line of duty and added that one of the essence of the lecture is to ensure that lessons learned by participants are adequately disseminated.
Present at the event were the GOC 6 Div PH Maj Gen SG Mohammed, Commanders of affiliated formations and units, Officers and Soldiers of 6 Division.
