Which Way Forward For North Central 2023 …?
Expectations are high towards who become the next Apc national Chairman as the 2023 political power play beckons on who succeed president Buhari .
It’s worthy to know that the gladiators and the shakers in the race .
All Progressive Congress, APC is standing on tripod which are Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, All Nigeria Peoples Congress, ANPP and Congress for Progressive Change , CPC .
Those aspiring for the National Chairman of APC are as follows:
1.CPC Bloc :H.E. Senator Tanko Almakura the leading candidate from North Central.
2. ACN Bloc : H.E. Senator George Akume -North Central.
3. ANPP Bloc : H.E. Senator Kashim Shettima -North East.
4. PDP Bloc : H.E. Senator Danjuma Goje -North East .
Progressive, this clearly show that South-South, South -West,& South -East are only interested in the Presidency whereas, head to head South West will be favor and the most favorable aspirant among the rumoring 3 to have interest is ; H.E. Senator Bola Tinubu while the second H.E. VP Osibanjo , & the third one H.E. Fayemi .
However, Fayemi can only succeed through imposition, and the likely implications will be implosion , which is capable of scattering APC .
Moreover, from the South -South H.E. Chief Rotimi Ameachi is the only person who have shown interest and also cult some friends within the executive at the national level but is major obstacle seem to be that his zone is the strongest- hold of PDP in Nigeria & giving him APC ticket will be a risking venture, as well as his home politics ; Rivers State where he’s from, he also seem not to have full control ,so the issue of political base matter a lot .
Like President Buhari ,his 12 millions political based has been the North ,which was his negotiation power at the formation of APC & 2014 Presidential Primary held in Lagos.
On the power tussles in Apc : the safest way to safe APC comes 2023,solidly lies in the hands of President Buhari by searching through his soul and conscience, and to reward the man whom God used to make his presidency a reality, and that man is Tinubu, in whom every genuine Buharists ie core grassroot politicians love especially from the North here .
Finally, while the battle for the APC chairmanship rage on ,it’s seem North West are gearing up for the position of the Vice President .
At this juncture, Progressive who do you want as your next APC National Chairman ?
A. Tanko Almakura – A one man battalion that PDP couldn’t crushed in the North Central btw 2011-2019.
B. Kashim Shettima a commanding force in APC fold,he’s the political godfather of Prof. Zulum , one of the most performing Governor in Nigeria presently , after H.E. Ganduje of Kano.
C. Danjuma Goje, the strongman of Gombe politics that have the ears of the warring governors , he was actually the choice of the Governors for the Senate seat then , which only took the tacticianship of Tinubu & Buhari endorsement to paved way for the current Senate President Ahmed Lawal, and not forgotten the ferocious Oshiomhole who sailed it through .
D. George Akume the most successful politician in North Central since 1999-till date.
It’s being rumoring that some Buhari cabal want him for the job .
